xray.ufuncs.ceil

xray.ufuncs.ceil(*args, **kwargs)

xray specific variant of numpy.ceil. Handles xray.Dataset, xray.DataArray, xray.Variable, numpy.ndarray and dask.array.Array objects with automatic dispatching.

ceil(x[, out])

Return the ceiling of the input, element-wise.

The ceil of the scalar x is the smallest integer i, such that i >= x. It is often denoted as \(\lceil x \rceil\).

Parameters:

x : array_like

Input data.

Returns:

y : {ndarray, scalar}

The ceiling of each element in x, with float dtype.
