xarray.ufuncs.ceil

xarray.ufuncs.ceil = <xarray.ufuncs._UFuncDispatcher object>

xarray specific variant of numpy.ceil. Handles xarray.Dataset, xarray.DataArray, xarray.Variable, numpy.ndarray and dask.array.Array objects with automatic dispatching.

ceil(x[, out])

Return the ceiling of the input, element-wise.

The ceil of the scalar x is the smallest integer i, such that i >= x. It is often denoted as \(\lceil x \rceil\).

Parameters:

x : array_like

Input data.

Returns:

y : ndarray or scalar

The ceiling of each element in x, with float dtype.
